From Months to 48 Hours: Building Public Health Surveillance Data Capacity

I helped lead a cross-program effort at a state public health agency to make annual hospital discharge data available within 24–48 hours of receipt, rather than months. The project combined epidemiologic requirements, automated validation, secure access, and ongoing governance. It supported approximately 70 users across ten programs while preserving expert oversight.
